Announcing WSCF-US National Organizer!

Picture
“It is inspiring and energizing to be part of a collective of Christians dedicating their lives to repairing injustice and building a world where all people can flourish. The vision of a student Christian community seeking peace and justice embodied in WSCF is exactly what I searched for as a young(er) adult, and I feel honored to carry out that vision for others.” - Ailih Weeldreyer
With great joy the World Student Christian Federation - US announces the hiring of Ailih Weeldreyer as our National Organizer. The WSCF-US National Organizer recruits and mentors the WSCF's Student Leadership Team, organizes our national student conference, initiates programming and communications, and develops partnerships with students, chaplains, and campus ministers across the US and abroad through the global WSCF network of Student Christian Movements.

Ailih (she/her) is a 2024 graduate of Harvard Divinity School and most recently served on the staff of the Quaker United Nations Office (QUNO) in New York.  Previously she served as a Presbyterian Young Adult Volunteer in Washington, D.C. and organized with the Sunrise Movement in her hometown of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Ailih brings extensive experience in the US-based ecumenical movement, with particular emphases on environmental justice, racial justice, peace-building, and community organizing. Her professional, volunteer, and academic work, as well as personal history, connects her to efforts for peace in Palestine, the Korean Peninsula, and Scotland. Ailih officially joined WSCF-US on August 18, 2025 and is based in New York City.
