In 2022, we hosted a series of monthly virtual Bible studies and dialogues centered around ecological justice as part of our New Heaven & New Earth programming. We partnered with the Student Christian Movement of Kenya on this initiative.
As the US and world confront the interlocking pandemics of white supremacy, extreme economic inequality, and ecological destruction - all within the context of the COVID-19 global pandemic - how do we respond from a Christian perspective to organize and build momentum toward a new world, rather than remaining within our current ways of operating?
Using the biblical framework of “A New Heaven and New Earth” from Revelation 21:1-6, the WSCF-US, in collaboration with campus ministers, chaplains, and faith leaders from across the U.S., invites Christian students to imagine a new world together and explore the ways in which we can work to help build it.
